I came to real estate the long way around, and I think every mile of it made me better at this.

I grew up in Northwestern Colorado, a small-town kid who spent most of her childhood in a swimming pool. Competitive swimming taught me early that you get out what you put in, and that showing up on the hard days counts for more than the easy ones. Then life as a military spouse taught me the rest. I've packed up a whole household more times than I can count, landed in places I'd never been, including a stretch living in South Korea, and made each one feel like home. So when a family tells me they're moving on a timeline they didn't choose, I don't just sympathize. I've lived it. And then I found the work that shaped me most: years as an EMT and paramedic, meeting people on the hardest days of their lives. That work teaches you to stay calm, tell the truth, and take care of the person in front of you. I have never stopped working that way.

These days, home is Cheyenne, and it's the life I used to daydream about. I'm a mom to two little girls who keep me humble and laughing, a devoted dog mom, and the proud keeper of a backyard flock of chickens. I call myself homesteader adjacent. You'll find us camping under Wyoming skies, pulling something warm out of the oven, planning our next trip, or at the pool, because once a swimmer, always a swimmer. My workouts at Flourish, the boutique women's gym here in town, are the hour that keeps the rest of it running.

My boyfriend flips houses, and he'd be the first to tell you he does all the actual work. Fair enough. But I've walked every one of those projects with him, and it changed how I walk a property with you. I'm not just seeing the paint and the staging. I'm seeing the roofline, the furnace, the water heater, the things that cost you money two years after closing.
